Special Events

La Zingara is host to a wide variety of special events throughout the year. From our New Year's Eve dinner to our St. Patrick's party in La Zingara Bar, there's always something special happeing on Erie Street. And every four years, La Zingara hosts open viewing of the World Cup. In 2006 when Italy won, it was a special moment at Lazingara. Each year La Zingara takes part in the Dragon Boats for the Cure fundraising effort to help find a cure for Breast Cancer. Supporters spend part of the weekend competing on the Detroit River in Dragon Boat races, and the other part enjoying the fina hospitality of the restaurants on Erie Street like La Zingara. A Taste Of Italy

Each summer the Erie Street BIA hosts the "Taste Of Italy" Festival. La Zingara takes parts by bringing the restaurant right out onto the street with an open area cafe.
